• To process, transcode, and stream your photos, reels, and stories efficiently.
• To personalize your feed, search results, and follower recommendations.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, harassment, and security incidents.
• To comply with statutory legal requirements and law enforcement requests under applicable laws.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Infrastructure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party infrastructure providers necessary to operate SnapZyte:

• Cloud hosting and VPS infrastructure providers.
• Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for high-speed global media delivery.
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities only when strictly required by a valid court order or statutory mandate.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard cryptographic security measures, including bcrypt password hashing, CSRF protection, secure socket layer (SSL/TLS) encryption in transit, and defensive server hardening. We retain your information as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill legal obligations.

5. Your Rights & Data Controls

You have full control over your personal data on SnapZyte:

• Access & Edit: You can edit your profile information, display name, bio, and avatar at any time from your account settings.
• Content Deletion: You can delete any reel, post, comment, or story you uploaded. Once deleted, the media is purged from our primary database and storage.
• Account Deletion: You may request full account deletion, which will permanently remove your profile, posts, and personal identifiers.

6. Children's Privacy

SnapZyte does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the account.
